Well yesterday I managed to get myself a website. This site is primarily to sell Digital products. The site is live with up to the minute updates. Any new digital products that are released will be on there to purchase. Hello All,

It has been a while since my last update. I am still pursuing many avenues. There is one digital product that is absolute gold dust at the moment - Project Black Mask. It has only been on sale since 19th June!!

I need to build a list

These updates just keep coming. Just to remind everyone of my current status and aim. I am currently working a full time job, in the next year I am planning to quit this job and work from home. Whether this is selling items on Ebay or becoming an internet millionnaire selling pants I want to tell everyone about my journey.

The first ebook on list building was actually quite good. It provides a good step by step guide to help build up the information you need to capture prospective customers. From what I have read so far it seems that one way to help your wallet in the future is to build up a list of potential buyers. Ideally these buyers want to be interested in the subject area that you have collected their email details from. For example it is no good building up a list from people who want a free Ebook on sea fishing and then try and sell them a product on woodworking. The chances of them also being interested in both areas are slim. Now imagine that you build up a list from people who want info on using Microsoft word, then you stand a higher chance of getting them to buy a related product on Excel or Powerpoint. The closer the link (without offering the same product is real money making magic.

I lot of people sit back and say 'well it's ok for the Guru's to say have a big mailing list because they have one'. But they had to start somewhere and now you cn find out how you can start from scracth and build it up quickly.

How to build an email list......?

Just a real quick update. I have started to read about mailing lists and the need for having a large email list. Obviously in this day in age everyone has to be careful not to spam or send unsolicited emails. This is a big no no and will soon get you kicked off many sites or email lists. That said, done rightly I am told this can be a very successful way of increasing your income. If you are a consistent Ebay seller this could dramatically increase sales of any new products that you are offering. I am currently trying to research and find sme good ways of building a mailing list. I have found several ebooks on the subject and some info on the net. When I decide on some to purchase I will let you know what I think.

There also seems to be some websites that will help build your contact for you. After signing up to one of them I have already been given some prospective email address and names. Good and Bad news.....

When I started this Blog I was unsure how I was going to get on and how often I would be able to update it. I am really having fun looking for new products/methods/opportunities. I have some good news and bad news. I'll start with the bad news, I have come across an old company which have been dressed up.

The website is www.YouWillBeSuccessful.org and after reading through it all it gives literally no information on what the product or scheme is. To get the information you have to send £27 off for a CD, remember his is just to get the info on what you will or won't be doing. I think this is disgraceful and just another way to sneak a few quid of potential individuals. I believe in the next stage you then have options as to how much you invest, the more you 'invest' the higher up the pecking order you go and get higher discounts of the products.

From researching this website I have found out that it is.......Herbalife. Now I'm sure many of you will have heard of this company and they sell herbal products for a wide variety of 'illnesses/symptoms etc'. The main one they push is the weight loss pills/shakes. Now I have had personal dealings with this company about 3 years ago. I thought it looked good, went to a seminar (think it cost about £42) had plenty of people who were making money. But for me it was not the right opportunity as with many of these pyramid type schemes you need to push the product mainly starting with friends and family. I think the successful people had already used the product before and lost weight, this is obviously brilliant if you can do this as you as yourself a walking advert for friends and family who remember you when you were fat. But as a young slim lad it was very hard to push this and had little true faith as I had no personal experience.

I'm not saying that Herbalife is no good or doesn't work, I'm just saying it takes a tremendous amount of time, money and effort to sell. There is a lot of chasing up new customers or present customers to re-order. My mine gripe is just with the '60minutemoney' website as they don't tell you anything about what the product is or what you will be doing until you spend £27.

Now for the good news. I have used this website for a little while as it is a good place to check of scams and new businesses. The website is mainly forum based and can be found at http://www.homeworking.com. It is free to join and a real friendly place to chat.

Who wants a FREE ebook?

Well, it's been a few days now since I posted my first Blog. I was searching through the internet for some good free offers to get me started. I found one place that offered a good free ebook to get me started. I have provided the link here http://tinyurl.com/2ozzpr.

It has been created by Alok Jain and really is a good starting place for information. He sells the idea that you can make $2475 from just 100 visitors. It seems that everything is in place for you to easily succeed and make some money. It explains some very simple methods to get visitors which seem so easy anyone could do it.

Alok Jain seems to be quite a big Internet Marketer and seems to have many ideas and products. I have enjoyed this Ebook, maybe because it was free? (that always helps!). I think it has given me some ideas for the future.

FIrst in a line of blogs - Living the Dream

Hello,

This really is the start of a new journey for me. I am new to Blogging so please bear with me. I have always liked the idea of working for myself and working from home. But now is the time I am standing up and taking the plunge. The aim of this blog is for me to try and share my honest opinions on Ebooks, software, Business ventures that I buy or enter into. I am mainly looking to make my money online with the use of my computer. I have already done some research which I will explain soon.

So maybe a little background on myself first. I grew up in a small town In Lincolnshire and educated at an all boys school. From here I went to University to read MEchanical Engineering. Since leaving nearly 2 years ago I have been working for a large engineering company. I was lucky enough to get on the housing ladder at the start of 2006 but that means a nice monthly mortgage too. I am getting married in 6 weeks to my long term girlfriend. Now, don't get me wrong I like the work I do and I get paid fairly well. The main thing eating away at me is knowing that for the next 41 years (yes, I'm only 24 at the time of writing) I will need to come to work and will never be financially free. Also I can't help thinking that life is passing me quickly - job, house, wife, (kids????)..... you get the point!

So back to the real matter in hand. I aim to tell my fellow bloggers all the highs and lows in this mamouth journey. I will hopefully be able to recommend or disregard some Ebooks, software an alike.
